Motorcycles, Scooters and ATV’s
Powersports Platinum Coverage
Platinum Coverage incorporates the Coverage listed under Gold Coverage (shown below) and provides coverage for almost all mechanical or electrical components of the covered vehicle for the entire term of the contract.
Powersports Gold Coverage
Engine
All internally lubricated parts including internal reed valves, valves and valve springs, valve covers, retainers, keepers, guides, seats, push rods, lifters and followers, rocker arms/pivots, rocker shifts and bushings, camshafts and bearings, crankshaft and main bearings, pistons, piston rings, pins, connecting rods, bearings, timing gears, timing chain or belt, water pump, fuel pump manifolds, oil pressure and sending unit, engine mount isolators, engine mounts.Cylinder head(s), block and cylinders are covered if damaged by an internally lubricated part.
Transmission
All internally lubricated parts contained within the transmission housing including bearings, arms, internal drive gears/chains, internal shafts, internal selector mechanism, thrust washers, springs and bushings, transmission mounts.Transmission Case if damaged by an internally lubricated part. (Clutch assembly and cables are not covered).
Lubricating System
Complete oil injection system, oil pump, oil injection drive gear, oil tank, oil lever sensor, oil cap, all metallic oil lines.
Primary Drive
All internally lubricated parts contained within the primary drive case, including gears, bearings, internal drive gears and chains, internal selector mechanism.Case is also covered if damaged by an internally lubricated part. (Clutch and hub assemblies are not covered).
Drive Axle Assembly
(Shaft Driven Motorcycles and ATV’s): All internally lubricated parts contained within the differential housing, transaxle housing, and final drive housing; axle shafts, constant velocity joints, universal joints, drive shafts, locking hubs, hub bearings, locking rings, supports, retainers and bearings.
Steering
Steering stem assembly, bearings and bushings, shaft, stem nut, rod end, handle bar.
Front and Rear Suspension
All internally lubricated parts contained within the front fork tubes and front hub, front and rear wheel bearings, swing arm and swing arm bushings and bearings, frame, upper and lower control arms, ball joints, king pins, bushings and spindle.Front fork tubes and front hub are covered if damaged by a suspension component.
Brakes
Hydraulic brake calipers, master cylinder assembly, brake backing plates, hubs and internal actuating mechanism, disc rotors, hydraulic lines and fittings.
Electrical
Starter assembly, coils, rectifiers, stator,solenoids, alternator, voltage regulator, wiring harness, CDI control box/electronic ignition module, electronic fuel injection system including all input sensors and output control units, manually operated switches.
Gauges
Factory installed speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, amperage gauge, oil pressure gauge.(Light bulbs are not covered).
Fuel/Cooling
Fuel tank and level sending unit, radiator, fuel injectors, cooling fan motor, petcock, fuel lines and fittings, fuel pump and housing.
Touring Bikes
Digital dash components, control cables, factory installed sound system (excluding speakers), fairing hardware, brackets, switches, covers, latches and hinges, saddle bag/travel trunk latches, hinges and mounting hardware.
Seals and Gaskets(New Vehicle Only)
Coverage is provided for seals and gaskets on all covered parts.
Bonus Benefits for Motorcycles
Pick Up and Delivery Benefit
In the event of a breakdown covered by the contract, we will pay or reimburse your customer for receipted pick-up and delivery expenses, from a licensed towing/repair facility, up to $60 per occurrence.No deductible will apply to this benefit.
Rental Benefit
In the event of a breakdown covered by the contract, We will pay or reimburse your customer for receipted expenses to rent a replacement vehicle, from a licensed rental agency, or for alternate public transportation while your motorcycle is at a licensed towing/repair facility.Coverage will be provided to you up to a maximum of $30.00 for every eight labor hours, or portion thereof, of applicable labor time required to complete the repair, up to a maximum of $90 for each repair visit.
Trip Interruption Benefit
In the event a breakdown covered by the contract occurs more than 100 miles from your customers home and results in a licensed towing/repair facility keeping the covered motorcycle overnight, We will reimburse your customer for receipted motel and restaurant expenses, up to $75 per day for a maximum of three days - total benefit per occurrence of $225.No Deductible will apply to this benefit.
